School Council 2025-26
At Carrowdore Primary we believe that children are at the centre of our school. So it is important that we hear about their passions, concerns and ideas. School council is one of the ways that these messages can be shared.
Each September the children have the opportunity to apply to be a school council member and are voted for by their classmates. Each classroom has a school council suggestions box so everyone in school can contribute. The council meet regularly as a group with a teacher representative to discuss any ideas and concerns and report back to their peers.
If you have any ideas about how to make our school an even better place then speak to one of the school council members, write the idea in the suggestion box in your classroom or tell the teacher rep, Mrs Curragh.
