Charity at Carrowdore Primary School
In Carrowdore Primary School we strongly believe in the importance of caring for others. The children are invited to bring a small donation on Friday mornings for charity and the class who collects the most is awarded the coveted Charity Cup in assembly and will receive an extra ten minutes playtime.
We also host fundraising events inlcuding non-uniform days, themed days or fun runs to raise money for charity. The school council often suggest charities that are meaningful to the children at Carrowdore.
The proceeds from special events including our school carol service and harvest assembly are also donated to charity.
Many thanks for the continuing contribution from all pupils. We look forward to continuing this great work and strong tradition of charitable giving in CPS.
