Welcome to P2!
Mrs Cousley teaches Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Wednesdays. Mrs Chesney teaches alternate Wednesdays and every Thursday and Friday. Mrs Smith is P2 Classroom Assistant. Mrs Morrow is also Classroom Assistant this year.
P2 have a very fun and action packed year of learning ahead! Here are the class topics for the year:
🐻 We start off our year with a world trip with Barnaby Bear in our first topic, “Around the World.” Barnaby will be making stops at lots of countries providing learning and playing opportunities along the way. 🌎
🚀 Then we jet off into Space for our second topic, “Space". We will be learning about the planets and Space. We will maybe even make some space rockets! ⭐️
♻️ Our third topic is “Recycling”, it is all about learning about how to recycle and to take care of our environment. We will make some interesting things from junk material. 🗑️
🍃 After that, we will be learning about “Growing Things” and reading Jack and the Beanstalk. We will grow our own beans. I wonder will they reach the sky? 🌸
🪣 Our next topic is “Beside the Seaside” where we will take a look at sea creatures, seaside holidays, and think about the sights, sounds, and smells of the coast. 🐙
🚢 Last of all we will take a look at “Lighthouses” , where you can find them and why we need them. We will make our own model lighthouse. 🗼
