Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Carrowdore Primary School's website. Our website is intended to give visitors an insight into life in our busy school, as well as providing useful information for existing parents and pupils.
Carrowdore Primary School is a growing medium sized school situated at the heart of a rural community. Guests comment on the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the family friendly feel of the school.
We strive to deliver high quality teaching and learning in a caring community, our school motto is 'caring promotes success'. We aim to create a school that pupils, staff and guests look forward to visiting.
We believe education works best when we work in partnership with families and the local community. Our wonderful PTA organise events throughout the year providing opportunities for staff and parents to get to know each other and to work together to raise funds for the school.

P7 Off to Peru!
Primary 7 are very excited to be packing up and heading off to Peru . . . well Paddington in Peru in the cinema. We were delighted that Luca in P7 was the winner of a recent writing competition, his brilliant idea to take Paddington to the Marble Arch Caves, meant his whole class are being treated to a free trip to see the latest Paddington movie. Each child in P7 also received a gorgeous goodie bag and our school library is now the proud owner of the entire collection of Paddington stories. Well done to all the boys and girls who entered the writing competition and special congratulations to Luca!

Winner, Winner!
P7 are enjoying something of a winning streak! Congratulations to Andrew who was the winner of the John Minnis design your ideal house competition. Andrew won a W5 Family Pass and his wonderful artwork has been displayed in branch. Well done to everyone who entered - we hope you enjoy your prize Andrew.
